The challenge

Listed and thriving on AIM, Impellam Group had become the second largest staffing business in the UK and 12th worldwide. Never having used external writers before, the company asked us to write a clear, professional annual report which reflected this standing.

The solution

We established the overarching theme of progress in the report title (People. Trust. Progress) and referred back to it throughout. This lent the report a more coherent narrative. We also acted as a sounding board. Internal messaging and recruitment jargon was coaxed into compelling prose while business decisions were unpacked to reveal the insights and expertise which underpinned them.
